It’s a little known fact, but being the client of a new build or renovation is really hard work. With so much riding on every decision and so many decisions to make, it’s easy, even for seasoned renovators and developers, to be totally overwhelmed by all the options out there. I see this a lot. It’s actually the way most of my clients are feeling when we first meet.
Setting up a framework for making decisions in the right order, editing the options and helping people overcome the fear of getting it wrong is at the centre of my work. Some clients need me a lot, others just a little. And that’s great. As a freelancer, (I happily bid farewell to a corporate career seven years ago to grow my own brand of consulting) a highly personalised, hands-on, freestyle approach to interior design, not available from the bigger studios, is what I’m all about.
