Spring is putting me in the mood for colour it seems. Read the fabulous interview with the client of this project, the restored Hotel Veuve Cliquot, over at yatzer where they talk about creating the necessary tension between traditional and modern.
I love going back to look at this house at every so often. The dining room is one of the most beautiful I can remember seeing. It seems to be getting harder to find really uplifting design, especially houses, out there but this one always inspires.
I took these photos in Perugia a few months ago, in Spring. The light is amazing in Umbria. So different to here. I think it was my last full day in town. Funny, but no matter how many times I return to Italy, I always get a bit snap happy when it comes time to leave.
